Hey! my name is Sean, I’m a 27 year old Oregon Native, and a wedding filmmaker based in Hood River, Oregon. I know, sounds official right? I call myself a filmmaker because you can expect something beyond a simple tooty-fruity video. I’m not interested in giving you a montage wedding video following an xyz formula. I want to tell your story with depth, power, and intimacy, all while making sure you and yours look as fly as possible ;)

So am I a random guy who just picked up a camera and now I’m going to film your wedding? Well we all have our filmmaking journeys, and mine starts way before picking up a camera. I first found my capacity for making art as a musician.

I’ve been an instrumentalist and vocalist for years, and I loved it so much that I got a bachelors degree in it. The music that I engage with and create has always filled my mind with images. I create movies in my head, sequences that swell with the musical soundscape and pull at the emotion that the music brings.

So how did I get into filmmaking? It’s all thanks to that stellar dude next to me on this page. Ian hooked my interest in making videos when he asked if I wanted to create an action film (back when we were youngsters). We incorporated our whole family in the project and eventually made a 2 hour long action film… shot on iPhone. It’s not at the John Wick level of quality, and it’s not going to get us an Apple sponsorship, but dang did we have fun.

From there, we continued creating videos and eventually shot our first wedding. It was here that I got a glimpse into this style of work… and I loved it. I wanted to create a beautiful video for the couple, and it was this first wedding that sparked the passion for me. I loved capturing the details, showing off the venue, and of course, capturing the couple in love.

So as cheesy as that statement sounds, don’t expect a cheesy wedding video from us. I’m here to capture your smiles, your tears, your quirks, your shaky voice as you say “I Do” to your forever partner. I’m here to make certain these blissful moments are not forgotten. The love between two people is a powerful, delicate world of its own, and that is what I seek to capture. Show me your world.

why is it important for you to know about me? I don’t want to feel like a stranger at your wedding. I want you to feel like you’ve got a friend who also happens to have a Netflix approved camera there to capture your love raw, intimate, and vulnerable. I mean, Ian and I sent it into a cold river to take that epic shot of us above, so does that make us look reckless or passionate? I think a little of both, but that’s where the fun is. I want your experience with us to be fun and spontaneous, intimate and emotional, memorable and exciting. Don’t forget we’re not making a simple montage here, this is us creating a piece of art.
